Republican Senator Josh Hawley issued an opening statement Monday was critical of Jackson's sentencing record of child pornography offenders. The Missouri senator arrived for the second day of hearings Tuesday where he is expected to rail Jackson on the topic

'Well, how would you feel if a senator up here said [of] your faith: 'A dogma lives loudly within you and that is a concern'?' Graham asked, referencing a comment that was made toward Judge Barrett during her confirmation hearing by California Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein.

'From across that check-out counter I saw the pain of inflation on my neighbors' faces. I saw what happens when prices rise faster than wages,' she said. 'The Biden administration believes inflation is a quote-"high-class problem." I can tell you, it's an everybody problem.' 

Green, who grew up in a low-income household in Harlem, New York, graduated from Rochester with about $40,000 in federal loan debt.

Some of that was erased under a public service forgiveness program when she completed two terms with Americorps, and she whittled it down further with monthly installments until the government paused repayment due to the pandemic.

'Well the American people share that view. Enough is enough. And it's not just with D.C. spending, Americans are tired of a political class trying to remake this country into a place where an elite few tell everyone else what they can and cannot say, what they can and cannot believe,' Reynolds said.

Jackson would not give a commitment on where she fell on the issue of adding seats to the Supreme Court, which is widely opposed by Republicans.
